About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at University Senior Living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This full-time position offers a competitive starting wage of $17.50-$21 per hour and a unique opportunity to create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with activities of daily living. Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Be present, share talents, and be someone others can count on.
- Create an inclusive and positive environment by investing with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
- Be curious, ask questions, and be engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
