About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Partner to join our team at University Senior Living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This part-time role focuses on creating human connection with residents, providing empathetic care, and fostering a positive environment. The Care Partner will assist residents with activities of daily living and ensure their well-being. Arrow Senior Living is a growing company with a strong emphasis on internal promotion and employee appreciation.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.

• Be curious, ask questions, and be engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
• Proactively assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
