About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Care Partner to join our team at University Senior Living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This part-time role offers a starting wage of $17-$21 per hour and a shift schedule of Monday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, and a commitment to continuous learning and growth. As a Care Partner, you will be responsible for creating human connections with residents, assisting them with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care, and ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active, as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
