About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at University Senior Living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This full-time position offers a competitive wage of $17-$21 per hour and a supportive, home-like environment. As a Care Partner, you will be an "Advocate of Empathy," creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments, a "Generous Gift Giver" by being present and reliable, "đź’Ż" by fostering an inclusive and positive environment, and an "Engaged Egghead" by being curious and committed to your development. You will proactively assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Foster an inclusive and positive environment.
- Be curious and engaged in your development, growth, and training.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
