About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Boulevard St Charles. This part-time role involves providing direct care and creating meaningful connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with their daily living activities. The ideal candidate will be at least eighteen years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have strong English communication skills, a positive attitude, basic computer skills, and the physical ability to perform the job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting residents with mobility. A criminal background check is required.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Being present and sharing talents with residents and team members.
- Creating an inclusive and positive environment.
- Assisting residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assisting persons after a fall.
