About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Partner to join our team at Hudson Grande in Hudson, OH. This part-time role involves providing direct care and creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with their daily living activities. The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have strong English communication skills, a positive attitude, basic computer skills, and the physical ability to perform the job duties, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting residents with mobility. Criminal clearance is required.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
  • Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Be present and share talents.
  • Create an inclusive and positive environment by investing with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
  • Be curious, ask questions, and be engaged in development, growth, and training.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Assist persons after a fall.
