About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Care Partner to join our team at The Kentridge Senior Living in Kent, Ohio. This part-time position offers a wage range of $18.00-$20.00 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. The Care Partner is responsible for creating human connection with residents, being present and reliable, fostering an inclusive and positive environment, and assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The role requires a proactive approach and a commitment to empathy and engagement.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Be present and share talents, being someone others can count on.
- Create an inclusive and positive environment by investing with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
- Be curious, ask questions, and be engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
