About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner to join our team at The Kentridge Senior Living in Kent, Ohio. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus of $3,000 and a competitive wage range of $18.00-$20.00 per hour. The Care Partner role is centered around empathy, creating human connections with residents, and being a reliable and supportive team member. We are looking for individuals who are proactive in assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The ideal candidate will be at least eighteen years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to communicate effectively in English with residents. Computer skills are necessary for printing documents and entering resident information. This role requires physical activity including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping, with the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be criminally cleared.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Possess computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
