About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Kentridge. This full-time position involves providing direct care and creating meaningful connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with their daily living activities. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. You will be responsible for assisting residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care, as well as assisting them with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls. Criminal clearance is required.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
