About The Position

The Care Manager (CNA) assists residents with aspects of daily life according to their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. This is a non-exempt, hourly, full-time position scheduled for at least 30 hours per week, with a listed shift of 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The role reports to the Clinical Services Director. The hourly salary range is $20.00–$22.00.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification.
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
• Ability to perform the physical activities described for the role, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds and intermittently lifting and supporting residents; proper body mechanics must be used.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
• Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during the assigned shift.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
