About The Position

The Care Manager (CNA) is a non-exempt, hourly, full-time position reporting to the Clinical Services Director. The role assists residents with aspects of daily life as outlined in their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The stated hourly salary range is $20.00–$22.00. The position is scheduled from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Care Manager supports residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality, provides and documents assigned care, and promptly reports changes in residents’ conditions. The role requires frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, and supporting residents.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification.
High school diploma.
Ability to perform the described physical duties, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds and intermittently lifting and supporting residents; use proper body mechanics.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
Dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
Escort residents to meals and activities.
Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
