About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers of Brownsburg is hiring a caregiver to assist clients with daily activities and provide safe, dependable care. The role includes personal care, companionship, household tasks, meal preparation, and transportation. Caregivers use the Care+ App to track their work schedule, review caregiving responsibilities, support family communication, and more. The position offers flexible hours, paid mileage, training, and other benefits.

Requirements

• Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility.
• Ability to function with minimal supervision while maintaining a professional relationship with the client.
• Background check, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, and TB test.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Dependable and professional.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities in a safe manner.
• Provide light housekeeping.
• Plan menus, prepare meals, and set them up.
• Do laundry and change linens.
• Provide transportation and assist with shopping.
• Assist with bathing and dressing.
• Provide safety support and companionship.
• Use the Care+ App to track work schedules, review caregiving responsibilities, and help with family communication.
• Maintain skills and learn on an ongoing basis.
• Adhere to agency policies.
