About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers of Brownsburg is seeking caregivers to provide in-home care for clients of all ages, including seniors, children, veterans, people with chronic illnesses, and those recovering from medical procedures. Caregivers help clients with daily activities while supporting their safety, engagement, and dignity. The role involves working with minimal supervision while maintaining a professional relationship with each client.

Caregivers can use the Care+ app to view schedules and responsibilities, support communication with families, and access other work-related features. The company provides training through Homewatch CareGivers University, including online accredited courses intended to help caregivers meet ongoing training and certification or licensure requirements. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and its management makes all hiring decisions.

Requirements

• Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility.
• Ability to assist clients with daily activities safely.
• Ability to function with minimal supervision while maintaining a professional relationship with clients.
• Background check, Department of Motor Vehicle check, and TB test.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Dependable and professional.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities safely.
• Provide light housekeeping.
• Plan menus, prepare meals, and set up meals.
• Do laundry and change linens.
• Provide transportation and assist with shopping.
• Assist clients with bathing and dressing.
• Provide safety support and companionship.
• Use the Care+ app to track work schedules, review caregiving responsibilities, and support family communication.
• Maintain skills and participate in ongoing learning.
• Adhere to agency policies.
• Maintain a professional relationship with clients while working with minimal supervision.
