About The Position
Rainbow Centre envisions a world where persons with disabilities are empowered, included, and thriving in inclusive communities. Through services delivered across the life course, RC supports individuals to develop skills, independence, and meaningful participation in everyday life—from out-of-school-hours care and education to adult empowerment, therapy, social care, and community integration. We are seeking Care Facilitators to join our new Day Activity Centre for adults with disabilities. The Care Facilitator is a key support role that assists in the delivery of daily activities and routines for persons with disabilities. Working as part of a team, the Care Facilitator provides hands-on support during activities, transitions, and personal care where required, helping to ensure that activities are safe, engaging, and well-organised.
Requirements
- Minimum “N” Level / 3 “O” Level passes / partial ”A” Level / fresh NITEC with pass in English
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with clients with disabilities is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Support Daily Activities & Routines: Provide hands-on support during daily activities, routines, transitions, meals, and personal care to enable safe and meaningful participation for clients.
- Care, Wellbeing & Safety: Support clients’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing by ensuring safety, dignity, and adherence to care and safeguarding procedures at all times.
- Activity & Environment Support: Prepare and maintain activity materials, equipment, and environments to ensure they are safe, orderly, and conducive to engagement and learning.
- Observation, Documentation & Reporting: Observe client participation and progress, complete required documentation accurately using digital systems, and promptly report concerns or incidents to supervisors.
