Hybrid Care/Compounding Pharmacist

Mixlab•Hollywood, FL

About The Position

Mixlab is hiring a Care/Compounding Pharmacist for a hybrid role combining remote support for veterinarians and pet parents with in-person work at one of its compounding labs. The role is split approximately 40% Care and 60% lab, adjusted to business needs. Employees work at their home lab an average of three days per week, with the remaining days remote on the Care team. In-person days are scheduled in advance and may vary week to week; additional coverage may be requested during peak volume, staff absences, or inspections. Flexibility to work rotating nights, weekends, and holidays is required. On the Care team, the pharmacist communicates with veterinarians, veterinary practice staff, and clients; handles prescriptions and order questions; counsels clients; and helps ensure orders and deliveries are handled accurately and on time. In the lab, the pharmacist compounds and verifies medications, supervises pharmacy technicians, and upholds quality assurance and regulatory standards. Across both functions, the pharmacist connects Care and lab teams, helps resolve clinical and workflow questions, and contributes to dependable service for veterinarians and pet families.
