About The Position

The Care Associate supports residents in the Assisted Living Program with activities of daily living, helping them maintain a quality life, dignity, and independence. The role includes assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other daily needs, as well as emotional and social support. The Care Associate follows the schedule of residents’ needs set by a supervisor, documents assistance in a daily log, and reports resident issues or concerns to the supervisor while respecting resident confidentiality.

Requirements

At least one year of experience working in senior care.
English proficiency sufficient to perform job duties, communicate with the supervisor and other employees, and respond to and communicate during emergency situations.
Basic computer skills.
Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful demeanor.
Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high-stress situations.
Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

Nice To Haves

CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on the state.
