About The Position

Cogir Senior Living is hiring a Care Partner for an assisted living community. The role provides compassionate, personalized direct care to residents, helping with activities of daily living while supporting their comfort, safety, well-being, independence, privacy, and dignity. Care Partners work as part of a team to create a supportive and nurturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current caregiver training or certification in accordance with state requirements, such as CNA, or willingness and ability to obtain it.
• Current First Aid and CPR license, or ability to obtain them.
• At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
• Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
• Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with memory care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring as needed, following community protocols, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Support residents’ independence and emotional well-being through compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
• Encourage and assist residents to participate in life enrichment activity programs.
• Perform light housekeeping, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
