About The Position
Benedictine is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA-NAR) to provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents in an assisted living setting. The role focuses on treating residents with dignity and respect while supporting their choices. The CNA provides direct resident care, reports changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN, and records care in the POC system. This position requires Illinois CNA certification and a good-standing status on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
Requirements
- Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- BLS certification.
- Illinois CNA certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN.
- Chart in the POC system.
- Demonstrate time management and prioritize tasks.
