About The Position

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Care Partner to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in an assisted living community. The role supports residents with activities of daily living and promotes their comfort, safety, and well-being while maintaining their independence, privacy, and dignity. Care Partners work as part of a team to foster a supportive and nurturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current caregiver training or certification as required by the state, such as CNA, or willingness and ability to obtain it.
Current First Aid and CPR license, or ability to obtain them.
At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.

Experience with memory care.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, as needed, while following community protocols, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines.
Promote residents’ independence and provide emotional support through compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
Encourage and assist residents to participate in life enrichment activity programs.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as making beds and tidying rooms.
Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
