About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Cardiovascular Technologist, specifically a Cath Lab Technologist, in Rochester, New York. The assignment begins on 09/28/2026 and lasts for several weeks. The role involves working in a hospital setting within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures. The pay range is $3,371 to $3,497 per week, with four 10-hour shifts. There are no guaranteed hours. First-time travelers are accepted, and an on-call requirement is in place.

Requirements

Active New York license in hand
BLS and ACLS certifications
EPIC charting experience required
Minimum 1 year cath lab experience (diagnostic and interventional)
On-call required
Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the assignment

Imaging credential: ARRT (R) preferred; RCIS acceptable if ARRT not available

Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate in sterile cath lab cases for diagnostic and interventional procedures, including PCI/PTCA and stent placements, device implants/closures.
Assist with lab setup, equipment operation, and peri-procedural care; manage IABP as directed and support rotablation when indicated.
Document procedures in EPIC with accurate, compliant charting and timely data entry.
Monitor patient status during procedures, recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias; maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other cath lab team members to ensure efficient workflow and seamless post-procedure transfer of care.
