Requirements

• Active Cardiovascular Technologist license or eligibility in the applicable state.
• Certification as required for cardiovascular imaging procedures.
• Relevant experience in a cath lab radiographic environment preferred.
• Educational background in cardiovascular technology (associate degree or higher) or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a hospital setting with varied shift demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform, assist, and complete cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations.
• Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of advanced equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images of designated body portions as ordered by physicians.
• Position patients correctly for examinations and provide instructions to ensure quality results.
• Perform specialized studies and adapt techniques to patient needs and clinical indications.
