About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab Technologist) in a hospital setting located in Saratoga Springs, NY. The position is temporary and involves performing CVIS and radiology imaging tasks, assisting with cardiovascular procedures, operating imaging systems, documenting procedures, and supporting room turnover. The role may also require floating within the hospital to support the CVIS/Radiology unit. The assignment has a start date of 09/28/2026 and a duration of weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $3,222 to $3,298. The shift is 5x8 Days, and call coverage is required for 12 shifts per month. COVID-19 vaccine is not required.

Requirements

• NY State license in hand at the time of submission/start
• ARRT certification required
• Minimum 2 years CVIS / Radiology Technologist experience
• EKG testing: Relias EKG exam required within 72 hours of signing
• Local residency restriction: permanent address within 50 miles will not be accepted
• Ability to work in a hospital CVIS / Radiology setting and adapt to CN/ Cath Lab workflows

Nice To Haves

• RCIS preferred but not mandatory
• Travel experience preferred but not required
• Charting experience with EPIC is helpful

Responsibilities

• Perform CVIS and radiology imaging tasks, with potential Cath Lab responsibilities, including equipment operation and image capture.
• Prepare and assist patients and the interventional team before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures; maintain sterile technique and safety standards.
• Operate imaging systems and document procedures, ensuring accurate data entry in the charting system (EPIC) per unit workflow.
• Support room turnover, manage supplies, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to optimize patient care and imaging quality.
• May float within the hospital to support the CVIS/Radiology unit as workload requires, within scope of practice.
