About The Position

This is a travel temporary assignment for a Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Echo Tech in Boston, MA. The role supports an outpatient pediatric imaging department, with the flexibility to cover inpatient, ED, and NICU as needed within a hospital setting. The assignment is approximately 22 weeks long, starting on 09/14/2026, with a 10-hour day shift. EPIC Hyperspace with Cadence Scheduling is the system used for charting and scheduling.

Requirements

Certifications: ARDMS RDCS-PE and BLS
Experience: 2+ years of pediatric echocardiography/sonography; fetal echocardiography preferred
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a imaging department
Ability to upload Holter and blood pressure device data into the EMR
EPIC experience (Hyperspace Cadence) or strong familiarity with pediatric echocardiography workflows
Eligibility to work in the United States and perform pediatric imaging in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

Perform pediatric echocardiography studies, including transthoracic scans, in an outpatient setting with coverage of inpatient, ED, and NICU as needed.
Upload Holter and blood pressure device data into the patient record as part of the imaging workflow.
Maintain quality imaging and accurate documentation; communicate findings to the cardiology team as appropriate.
Work independently within the outpatient department while supporting inpatient services when required.
Utilize EPIC Hyperspace Cadence Scheduling to document studies and manage the imaging workflow.
Manage an average patient load of about 10 studies per shift and maintain professionalism and patient safety.
