About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Echo Tech in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The assignment is temporary, lasting 16 weeks, and is based in a hospital setting. The role involves performing various echocardiography studies and collaborating with cardiology teams.

Requirements

• RDCS certification
• BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience performing TTE/TEE, contrast studies, bubble studies, and stress echo
• Ability to work across inpatient, outpatient, ER, and cath lab settings in a hospital environment
• Proficiency with echocardiography equipment (e.g., Philips CX50; Siemens ACUSON SC2000) and EMR documentation (Athena, Meditech, PICOM)
• Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography (TTE/TEE) studies per physician orders
• Use contrast agents (Optison/Definity) and conduct bubble studies; perform stress echo protocols as indicated
• Execute exercise- and dobutamine-stress echocardiography; interpret and document findings
• Operate and troubleshoot echo equipment (examples include Philips CX50 and Siemens ACUSON SC2000) and manage routine maintenance
• Document results and generate reports in the appropriate electronic medical record systems (Athena, Meditech, PICOM)
• Collaborate with cardiology teams; participate in rotating evening/night and weekend call as required
• Provide imaging services across multiple care settings, including inpatient, outpatient, ER, and cath lab environments
