About The Position

This is a traveling assignment for a Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Electrophysiology (EP) in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The contract is for 16 weeks, starting on 09/14/2026, with a weekly pay range of $2,308 to $2,422. The position guarantees 36 hours per week and involves working a 2x3 Days shift in a hospital EP lab setting. Local candidates within 50 miles are not being considered for this role.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an electrophysiology laboratory or EP-related specialty.
Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS; RCIS (CVT) required.
Demonstrated experience with ICDs, SICDs, pacemakers, structural heart devices, and EP ablation/PVI procedures.
Ability to work in a hospital EP lab environment as part of a travel assignment; capable of meeting credentialing requirements and adapting to the shift pattern.

Responsibilities

Provide support in the electrophysiology lab during diagnostic studies, ablations, and device-related procedures; assist physicians and nurses to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.
Prepare and operate EP lab equipment, including mapping systems, catheters, and monitoring devices; maintain sterility and follow infection control protocols.
Monitor patient status during EP procedures, document findings, and assist with data collection for electrophysiology studies and ablations.
Assist with ICD, SICD, pacemaker, and structural heart device workflows; support EP ablation/PVI procedures as directed.
Collaborate with the EP team to ensure accurate documentation, equipment readiness, and smooth room turnover between cases.
