About The Position
This is a travel-temporary assignment for a Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in the Electrophysiology (EP) lab. The role is based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and involves supporting EP physicians in a hospital setting. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/21/2026. Healthforce Healthcare LLC is the staffing agency providing this opportunity.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an EP Technologist
- RCIS or RCES certification required at time of submission
- BLS and ACLS required at time of submission
- Ability to work in a hospital EP lab environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with advanced EP procedures is preferred (examples: left bundle pacing, Watchman, Pulsed Field ablation, leadless devices)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain EP lab equipment and monitoring systems for electrophysiology procedures.
- Assist EP physicians with mapping, ablation, device implants, and other EP interventions.
- Record and interpret intracardiac signals, document procedure details, and track patient status during cases.
- Ensure sterile technique, equipment readiness, and timely room turnover between procedures.
- Monitor patient hemodynamics and respond to clinical changes under supervision.
- Collaborate with physicians, EP nurses, and other technologists to support safe, efficient procedures and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
