About The Position

This is a hospital-based travel assignment for a Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Echo Tech in Marysville, California. The assignment is for 8 weeks, with a start date of 08/31/2026. The role involves performing ultrasound duties to image the heart, assess cardiac function, and support diagnosis and treatment decisions. The technologist will operate ultrasound equipment, position patients, ensure safety and comfort, and collaborate with cardiologists. Requirements

Prior echocardiography or cardiovascular ultrasound experience preferred.
Ability to perform ultrasound examinations of the heart, including 2D imaging, Doppler (color and spectral), and standard echo views.
Licensure or credential for cardiovascular imaging as required by state regulations; education in cardiovascular technology or related field.
Availability to work 10-hour days in a hospital setting on a travel assignment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with cardiology staff and other care team members.
Eligibility to work in the United States and adapt to a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound technical duties to image heart muscle and cardiac function, supporting diagnosis and treatment decisions.
Create and optimize images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves and vessels; apply appropriate Echo protocols to assess structure and function.
Operate ultrasound equipment, position patients, monitor safety and comfort, and ensure high-quality image acquisition.
Collaborate closely with cardiologists, handling the technical aspects of examinations, evaluating findings, and reporting results for interpretation.
Document findings accurately and prepare preliminary measurements and notes for the cardiology team.
Maintain equipment quality, participate in quality assurance, and follow safety and infection-control policies.
