About The Position

This travel assignment focuses on echocardiography in a critical access hospital setting. The contract is for 13 weeks with guaranteed 24 hours per week. The role involves performing echocardiography studies for diagnostic purposes, ensuring high-quality imaging, maintaining patient flow, documenting findings, and adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

Echo experience with hands-on echocardiography procedures
ARDMS or NBE certification required
Current credentials in echocardiography per professional standards
Ability to work a 24-hour day shift in a travel assignment
Willingness to work in a rural, critical access hospital setting for 13 weeks

Responsibilities

Perform echocardiography studies for diagnostic purposes, including standard 2D, Doppler, and other echo techniques as appropriate.
Ensure high-quality imaging by proper patient positioning, protocol adherence, and appropriate equipment settings.
Maintain smooth patient flow in the echo service line and coordinate with the treating cardiology team to support timely diagnoses.
Document findings clearly and promptly, assist with preliminary interpretations as required, and participate in QA/QI activities.
Adhere to safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance standards; report any equipment or process issues to leadership.
