About The Position

Hiring Now!! - Cardiovascular Technologists, Cardiovascular Sonographers, Certified Surgical Technologists and Radiology Technologists. Positions are available both Main Sarasota Campus and SMH-Venice Campus.

Requirements

• Require graduation from an accredited Health Science program (Associate of Science degree or higher).
• Require Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS and/or RCES), Radiological Tech (Registered) CV, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RCIS), or RN (RCIS).
• Require current licensure or registration in the state of Florida (excluding CVT) (through C.C.I.).
• Require current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications within ninety (90) days of date of hire.
• Require three (3) years of experience in an Interventional Cardiac Cath and/or Electrophysiology Lab.
• Require graduation from a Cardiovascular Technology Program, or AS, BS, or AA degree.
• Require registration in either vascular technology or cardiac sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RVT and RDCS) or adult cardiac sonography and vascular specialty from Cardiac Credentialing International (RVS, RCS).
• Require training by the American Heart Association in BCLS within thirty (30) days of hire date.
• Require a minimum of one (1) year of cardiovascular experience, or three (3) years of general and vascular surgery experience.
• ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR

Responsibilities

• Require that CVTs working in the Cardiac Cath Lab must take call. They must be available to be contacted and report to work within thirty (30) minutes.
• Require current CST national certification. Must maintain national certification with documented proof of current certification status.
• Require Registered Tech Radiology - Interventional certification.
