About The Position

The Cardiovascular Surgical Scheduling Coordinator supports two cardiovascular surgeons and connects patients, providers, clinical teams, and administrative schedules. The coordinator manages complex surgical scheduling across multiple locations, coordinates surgical cases and appointments, and helps guide patients through their care journey. This role works with a team of surgeons, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, and clinical support staff to contribute to an exceptional patient experience. The position is full-time and on-site, with a potential hybrid opportunity after one year. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays.

Requirements

• Two years of administrative patient service experience.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate multiple provider schedules.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and care teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior medical scheduling experience.
• Experience obtaining or coordinating prior authorizations.
• Epic experience.
• Prior coding experience.
