About The Position

Cardiovascular Sonographers are needed at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System for their Sarasota and Venice campuses. In this role, you will perform and assist with cardiovascular diagnostic procedures for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and adolescent patients. These procedures include vascular, echocardiography, and exercise testing. Requirements

Graduates of a Cardiovascular Technology Program or possess an AS, AA or BS degree.
Hold appropriate ARDMS (RVT/RDCS) or CCI (RVS/RCS) credentials.
American Heart Association BLS training required within 30 days of hire.
Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required for individuals providing care to vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

Perform and assist with cardiovascular diagnostic procedures for adult, geriatric, pediatric and adolescent patients.
Conduct vascular, echocardiography and exercise testing.
