About The Position
Northside Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular/EKG Tech to support diagnostic cardiac evaluation. The role schedules and assists with EKGs, treadmill testing, arm and bicycle ergometer testing, nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles. Patients may include neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The shift is 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma, equivalent education (GED), or post-secondary education.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a Cardiology Technician.
- Certification such as EKG, CNA, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and assist in performing EKGs, treadmill testing, arm and bicycle ergometer testing, nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles for diagnostic cardiac evaluation.
- Provide services to patients ranging from neonates through geriatric adults.
