About The Position
Northside Hospital is hiring a full-time Cardiovascular/EKG Tech to support diagnostic cardiac evaluation. The role schedules and assists with cardiac testing and monitoring for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
Requirements
- High school diploma, equivalent education (GED), or post-secondary education.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a Cardiology Technician.
- Certification in EKG, CNA, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and assist with EKGs, treadmill tests, arm and bicycle ergometer tests, nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles for diagnostic cardiac evaluation.
- Provide testing and monitoring for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
