About The Position
Northside Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular/EKG Tech to schedule and assist with diagnostic cardiac testing for patients ranging from neonates to geriatric adults. The position is full-time and works evenings from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma, equivalent education (GED), or post-secondary education.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a Cardiology Technician.
- Certification such as EKG, CNA, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and assist with EKGs, treadmill testing, arm and bicycle ergometer testing, nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles for diagnostic cardiac evaluation.
- Provide testing support for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
