About The Position
The EKG Tech provides electrocardiograms and stress testing for inpatients and outpatients, serving patients from newborns through maturity. The role requires completing established competencies within the designated introductory period and performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Six months of experience performing EKGs is preferred but not required.
- BLS certification obtained through an approved American Heart Association Training Center.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience performing EKGs in a clinical setting.
- Completion of an EKG course within one year of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrocardiograms for inpatients and outpatients.
- Perform stress testing for inpatients and outpatients.
- Provide procedures for patients from newborn to maturity.
- Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
