About The Position
We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a Locum Tenens position in Kearney, NE. This is an inpatient role covering supplemental needs on a call-only basis. The coverage period is from July 14, 2026, ongoing, with specific shifts available throughout July, August, and September. The call schedule is 7a-7a with beeper coverage. The surgeon will be responsible for CABG, Valve, Cardiac, and Thoracic cases. The facility has 268 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center. Epic is the EMR system used.
Requirements
- Active NE License or IMLC
- Board Certified (BC)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- DEA certification
- NPDB Report
Responsibilities
- Perform CABG, Valve, Cardiac, and Thoracic surgeries.
- Provide call coverage for cardiothoracic surgery services.
- Manage inpatient cardiothoracic surgery cases.
