About The Position

Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a Locum Tenens position in Lima, OH. This is an inpatient role covering supplemental needs on an ongoing basis starting July 9, 2026. The position is call-only, requiring 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM, approximately 10-14 days per month. The surgeon will primarily see adult patients and perform procedures such as Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery, CABG, Arterial & Redo Coronary Revascularization, Pericardial Window, and Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, including Mitral Valve Repair. The facility has a Trauma Level II designation, 20 Operating Rooms, and utilizes Epic EMR. Support staff includes 3 PAs.

Requirements

• Active OH License
• Board Certified (BC)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Fellowship completion
• NPDB Report

Responsibilities

• Perform Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery
• Perform CABG, Arterial & Redo Coronary Revascularization
• Perform Pericardial Window
• Perform Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery
• Perform Mitral Valve Repair
• Provide 24-hour call coverage 10-14 days per month
