Licensed Veterinary Technician - Cardiology
About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an extraordinary Cardiology Veterinary Technician! This role involves providing nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values. You will report patient signalment, problem list, and plan during nursing rounds. The position requires calculating basic medical math, understanding the classification of commonly-used medications, their associated side effects, and monitoring therapeutic response. You will also administer medications via appropriate routes and duration, perform phlebotomy, triage, obtain patient history, assist clinicians with diagnostic procedures, provide patient care including treatments, prepare prescriptions, and communicate discharge orders to clients.
Requirements
- Licensed Veterinary Technician
- Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.
