Cardiology Practice Operations Manager

TCWGlobalBellevue, WA
Onsite

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Practice Operations Manager to serve as the operational partner to the physician leading an independent cardiology practice. This is more than an administrative management position. You will take ownership of the day-to-day business and operations of the practice while helping improve efficiency, strengthen referral relationships, and support continued growth. We're looking for someone who understands how a specialty medical practice operates and is comfortable turning the physician's vision into action.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of medical practice management or healthcare operations experience.
  • Experience within cardiology, cardiovascular care, or another specialty medical practice strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, EHR systems, and specialty practice operations.
  • Experience managing revenue cycle, billing, budgets, and practice finances.
  • Proven experience leading clinical and administrative teams.
  • Experience supporting practice growth, physician referral relationships, or patient acquisition is highly valued.
  • Private practice, physician-led practice, or clinic startup/growth experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to operate independently, solve problems, and take ownership rather than waiting for direction.
  • Strong communication skills with physicians, staff, patients, referring providers, and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily clinic operations, including patient flow, staffing, scheduling, vendors, facilities, and operational processes.
  • Manage practice finances and revenue cycle activities, including billing, collections, A/R, A/P, payroll, budgets, and P&L reporting.
  • Hire, onboard, schedule, coach, and manage clinical and administrative staff.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, patient experience, and overall practice performance.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Washington State requirements, credentialing, licensing, and insurance requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and specialists throughout the Bellevue/Seattle medical community.
  • Support growth of patient referral pipelines and overall clinic volume.
  • Partner directly with the physician on strategic initiatives, technology implementation, and expansion of specialty services such as Heart Failure and Cardio-Kidney-Metabolic clinics.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and diagnostic equipment partners.
