Cardiology NP/PA
About The Position
Locum tenens Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant providing clinical-only outpatient general cardiology services in Seattle, Washington. The coverage period is January 25, 2027, through July 30, 2027, to address a vacancy related to maternity/paternity leave. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., in 10-hour shifts. The role serves adult general cardiology patients, with an average daily volume of 10–12 and a case mix that includes general cardiology and stress testing. Hospital privileges are required. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the vendor. The facility uses Epic. Listed support staff include 40 PAs/NPs; RN, MA, and office staff availability is to be determined.
Requirements
- Board certification is required.
- Must be licensed in Washington or hold a Universal License (IMLC).
- DEA registration is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- ACLS certification is required.
- Cardiology experience is required.
- Hospital privileges are required.
Responsibilities
- Provide general cardiology clinic services, including evaluation and management of patients.
- Supervise stress tests and dobutamine stress echocardiograms (DSE).
- Manage rapid ED referral patients with cardiology needs.
- Conduct follow-up visits for general cardiology patients.
- Collaborate with the cardiology team to provide comprehensive patient care.
