Cardiology NP/PA
About The Position
This is a locum tenens opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Cardiology. The role is based in an outpatient clinic setting in Duluth, MN, focusing on clinical duties only. The coverage is needed 1-2 weeks per month, ASAP and ongoing, with a Monday-Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The position involves providing cardiology consultations and follow-up care, managing an average daily patient volume of 15 patients with 30-minute appointments, and collaborating with an EP physician and support staff. Accurate documentation in the Epic EMR system is required. There are no on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Valid MN or IMLC license
- BLS certification
- Cardiology background required
- Experience with Epic EMR system

Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up care in a clinic setting.
