About The Position
Heartbeat Health is seeking an experienced Echo and Vascular Technologist to join its clinical services team. The role provides on-site transthoracic echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound exams in partnership with clients, extending the company’s virtual-first cardiovascular care services. The technologist will work approximately 2–3 days per week on a 1099 contractor basis and travel to multiple locations during the week to perform exams. The position involves independently conducting patient studies, following standard protocols, and participating in monthly team meetings and occasional educational sessions.
Requirements
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
- Accredited two-year degree in Allied Health, Nursing, or a comparable recognized and accredited ultrasound technology program.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience.
- Experienced subject matter expert.
- Proficient in English.
- Excellent customer service skills, bedside manner, and overall energy.
- Forward-thinking and tech-savvy.
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and professionally in a team.
- Ability to complete patient exams independently with little direction.
Nice To Haves
- Registered Vascular Sonographer preferred.
- Knowledge of Studycast preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform complete transthoracic echocardiograms.
- Independently perform abdominal aorta, upper- and lower-extremity arterial or venous ultrasound, bilateral venous insufficiency or reflux exams, carotid studies, and IVC or iliac duplex studies.
- Perform examinations efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Follow standard protocols to ensure accurate and complete studies.
- Attend monthly team meetings and occasional educational sessions.
- Travel to multiple locations throughout the week to perform on-site echocardiograms.
