About The Position

Heartbeat Health is seeking an experienced Echo and Vascular Technologist to provide on-site cardiovascular ultrasound services in partnership with its clients. The role extends the company’s virtual-first cardiovascular care model by delivering in-person care at multiple locations throughout the week. The position is approximately three days per week on a 1099 contractor basis.

The sonographer independently performs complete transthoracic echocardiograms and a range of vascular ultrasound and duplex studies. The role also includes completing exams efficiently and according to standard protocols, attending monthly team meetings and occasional educational sessions, and traveling to multiple sites to perform on-site examinations.

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
• Accredited two-year degree in Allied Health, Nursing, or a comparable recognized and accredited ultrasound technology program.
• At least two years of clinical experience.
• Experienced subject matter expert.
• Proficient in English.
• Excellent customer service skills, bedside manner, and overall energy.
• Forward-thinking and tech-savvy.
• Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and professionally in a team.
• Ability to complete patient examinations independently with little direction.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Vascular Sonographer.
• Knowledge of Studycast.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complete transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Independently perform abdominal aorta, upper- and lower-extremity arterial or venous ultrasound, bilateral venous insufficiency or reflux exams, carotid studies, and IVC or iliac duplex studies.
• Perform examinations efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Follow standard protocols to ensure studies are accurate and complete.
• Attend monthly team meetings and occasional educational sessions.
• Travel to multiple locations throughout the week to perform on-site echocardiograms.
