About The Position

Heartbeat Health is seeking an experienced Echo and Vascular Technologist to join its clinical services team. The role provides on-site transthoracic echocardiograms in partnership with clients, extending the company's virtual-first cardiovascular care model. The technologist works approximately 3–4 days per week as a 1099 contractor and travels to multiple locations during the week to perform on-site exams.

The successful candidate is expected to work independently, follow standard protocols, and deliver accurate, complete studies efficiently. The role also involves attending monthly team meetings and occasional educational sessions. Heartbeat Health describes itself as a venture-backed health technology startup focused on improving cardiovascular care through connected clinical services, diagnostic reads, televisits, and virtual care programs.

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
• Accredited two-year degree in Allied Health, Nursing, or a comparable recognized and accredited ultrasound technology program.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Experienced subject matter expert.
• Proficient in English.
• Excellent customer service skills, bedside manner, and overall energy.
• Forward-thinking and tech-savvy.
• Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and professionally in a team.
• Ability to complete patient exams independently with little direction.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Vascular Sonographer.
• Knowledge of Studycast.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complete transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Independently perform abdominal aorta, upper- and lower-extremity arterial or venous ultrasound, bilateral venous insufficiency or reflux, carotid, IVC, and iliac duplex studies.
• Perform exams efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Follow standard protocols to ensure studies are accurate and complete.
• Attend monthly team meetings and occasional educational sessions.
• Travel to multiple locations during the week to perform on-site echocardiograms.
