About The Position

Heartbeat Health is seeking an experienced Echo and Vascular Technologist to join its clinical services team. The role provides on-site transthoracic echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound exams for patients in partnership with clients, extending the company's virtual-first cardiovascular care services. The position is expected to work approximately three days per week as a 1099 contractor and travel to multiple locations during the week to perform on-site exams. The successful candidate will work independently, follow standard protocols, and deliver efficient, accurate, complete studies while contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
• Accredited two-year degree in Allied Health, Nursing, or a comparable recognized and accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience.
• Experienced subject matter expert.
• Proficient in English.
• Excellent customer service skills, bedside manner, and overall energy.
• Forward-thinking and tech-savvy.
• Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and professionally in a team.
• Ability to complete patient exams independently with little direction.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Vascular Sonographer.
• Knowledge of Studycast.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complete transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Independently perform abdominal aorta, upper- and lower-extremity arterial or venous ultrasound, bilateral venous insufficiency or reflux exams, carotid, IVC, and iliac duplex studies.
• Perform exams efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Follow standard protocols to ensure studies are accurate and complete.
• Attend monthly team meetings and occasional educational sessions.
• Travel to multiple locations throughout the week to perform on-site echocardiograms.
