About The Position

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. The position is based within Loyola Medicine's three-hospital system, which includes Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital. The Cardiac Monitoring Tech provides surveillance of patients’ cardiac rhythm status and other telemetry indicators. The technician notifies a physician and/or registered nurse of changes in the basic electrocardiographic pattern.

Requirements

High school diploma.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.
1–2 years of previous job-related experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythm status and other telemetry indicators.
Notify a physician and/or registered nurse of changes in the basic electrocardiographic pattern.
