About The Position

VitalHire is hiring a travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for an acute care hospital in Eureka, California. This is a 26-week contract assignment with a day schedule of four 10-hour shifts, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The start date is November 16, 2026. The daily caseload is 8–12 patients, and the role involves coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, cardiac arrhythmias, and permanent pacemakers. Call is required; weekends and floating are not required. First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted, and a block schedule may be considered. Charting is done in Epic. Time off must be approved at the time of submission. Weekly pay is $4,049, with a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,512 per week where eligible. There are two openings.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• ARRT certification.
• California Fluoroscopy Permit; a pending permit is considered if the candidate has already applied.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• RCIS alone is not accepted.
