About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, placing Cath Lab Technologists in short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system. Nationwide and regional opportunities are available. Technologists must be willing and qualified to float throughout a hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions. The position involves practicing independently within the scope of knowledge and experience, maintaining accountability for delegation and decisions, collaborating with stakeholders, contributing to quality improvement, adapting to additional responsibilities, and embracing new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

This assignment is at Trinity Health Oakland. The start date is flexible, and the assignment is 13 weeks, with four 10-hour day shifts. The stated gross weekly rate is $3,200 for Cath Lab Technologists coming to Michigan from out of state and living more than 60 miles from the hospital. To receive this rate, the technologist cannot work in the same metropolitan area for more than 12 months.

Requirements

• At least 24 months of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• RCIS certification.
• Qualified and willing to float across hospital locations and/or regions.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations or regions.
• Apply the standard elements of professional practice: assessment, outcomes identification and solutions, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Act independently and appropriately within the scope of knowledge and experience in the practice area.
• Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes.
• Demonstrate agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.
