About The Position

Northside Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, electrophysiology procedures, and other miscellaneous procedures. The role involves operating physiologic/hemodynamic monitoring computers and/or scrubbing for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. The tech provides patient care to adult and geriatric patients.

The scheduled work hours are 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Weekend work is not required; on-call availability is required.

Requirements

• One year of prior interventional experience in Cath/Radiology, or two years of prior diagnostic lab experience in Cath/Radiology, or an associate degree in a Health Science Program, or completion of an accredited CVT/Radiology Technology program with appropriate specialization, or three years of prior interventional experience in Cath/Radiology.
• ARRT certification or RCIS certification within two years of hire or transition.
