About The Position

Northside Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, electrophysiology procedures, and other miscellaneous procedures. The role operates physiologic/hemodynamic monitoring computers and/or scrubs for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. The position provides patient care to adult and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• One year of prior interventional experience in Cath/Radiology, or two years of prior diagnostic lab experience in Cath/Radiology, or an associate degree in a health science program, or completion of an accredited CVT/Radiology Technology program with appropriate specialization.
• ARRT certification, or RCIS certification within two years of hire or transition, or three years of prior interventional experience in Cath/Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, electrophysiology, and other procedures.
• Operate physiologic/hemodynamic monitoring computers and/or scrub for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Provide patient care to adult and geriatric patients.
